Rodina Cinema Center is the main venue of the International Film Festival “The World of Knowledge”. The cinema’s building was completed in 1914-15. In 1917 an early cinema called “Splendid Palace” for it’s wonderful decorations was opened here.
In 1930 the cinema center held a premiere screening of the first soviet voiced movie “Road to Life” filmed by the Gorky Film Studio. Nowadays the cinema center also holds numerous and bright cultural events. For the second time “Rodina” became the main venue of “The World of knowledge”.
