The film tells a tale of centuries-long relations between a man and a snow leopard, of snow leopard and ancient forces of the nature. The film is about people (scientists or not) connected to this animal. The snow leopard goes through the whole film as a central image. It’s secrets, legends about it, it’s habits will be uncovered through the scientists’ and local people’s perception. The second theme of the film is the new approach to natural landscape preservation using indigenous people’s experience and practices.
