The Baksan neutrino observatory is a unique underground laboratory located in the Caucasus Mountains. Russian astrophysicists are trying to catch the neutrino, a ghost particle. Since late 1960s one of the world’s deepest laboratories, gallium-germanium neutrino telescope, have been measuring the solar neutrino flux, thus providing the data of great importance for the promotion of the world fundamental physics.
